   1. After reading Chapter 9, list & describe the types of child maltreatment & neglect from your text and how they can have an influence on child development in early childhood.

   4. Discuss & compare the types of parenting styles and how they may relate to child abuse or neglect.
   5. Explain who is required to be a mandated reporter is & what the law says about it. Why is mandated reporting so important?
