Students will use compose a thoroughly supported research paper that describes the finding of their research.
Describe current impacts of artificial intelligence applications in the area of your major or field of study or field of career-for example, if you are studying biology and intend to become a veterinarian-how is AI affecting veterinarian businesses right now and what will be the impacts in the future. Or if you are a music major, what are the impacts of AI in the music industry right now and what will be the impact in the future on you as a possible employee/employer/audience/society. ( my major is a pilot )
So these will be the major perspectives you need to take after you’ve described what’s happening in your field or career (dream job?):
What happens to employees/employers/audience-or consumers/and finally the overall society-will it be good? or will it be awful!? Why!?
Students will compose an annotated bibliography (8 sources) using academically valid sources, including peer-reviewed research articles (related to your research assignment topic).
The student must take a position that applies belief and reasoning systems to concepts of ethics and knowledge (DBR 200.1) and applies said systems of knowledge and ethics to issues in society, history, faith, spirituality, and one’s own life from a global perspective (DBR 200.2).
After completing the research essay, students will be able to:
- Construct an effective outline (Links to an external site.) for an extended research paper, organizing related paragraphs into sections that each examine a part of the thesis statement.
- Use transitions within and between paragraphs (Links to an external site.) and sections that successfully signal how sentences, paragraphs and sections relate to one another.
- Compose a conclusion (Links to an external site.) that provides a thorough summary of the essay’s body and ends with a memorable final thought, highlighting the significance of the topic.
