Good evening class,
This week I will be sharing my Informative Speech on ” Radiation in Medicine”. Although many believe to possess a general idea on how radiation contributes to modern medicine and how it works, I will be discussing the lesser known aspects of the field. On the power-point I will be discussing the history, the contribution to modern medicine, the side effects, and the advances to the technology used. I will be discussing how the uses of radiation was discovered to be useful in the medical field through trial and error. Included in the power-point I intend to display the different types of radiation waves and how they are utilized throughout different treatments. I will also be discussing how radiation not only is used to treat cancerous cells, but how it is used to treat or contribute to the treatment of different illnesses. I will attempt to keep my slides brief as I intend to keep most of my information in the Informative speech. Typically I would then use the slides as a tool to help convey the information, while not using them as my only resource. I have seen this technique as being a great tool for the audience to retain the information passed to them.
Thank you,
Andrew

-Hello everyone,
For this week I will be sharing with the class my informative speech outline titled “Human Traffic On The Internet”. It could be considered a well-known topic for most but I will be addressing specific data and information about the topic selected. I will be discussing the acts, the mean and the purpose of human traffic. Like the act could be to transport, the mean could be an abuse of power and the purpose of forced labor. I would like to use my speech to inform of the ways people can be trafficked online that one did not know. Also, I would like to share preventative measures. On my statistics slide, I would share what kind of group is more affected by this. For example, it could be a specific age group, sex or race that could possibly be more in danger of human trafficking than the rest of the population. That is why I would like to share stories of victims who have been through any kind of human traffic.
